Interactive spot ads are video ads that appear as pre-rolls, mid-rolls or post-rolls and offer more functionality; a roll-up reminder bar is displayed after the ad has ended, and video starts playing. The viewer can click on the bar to bring back either the same advertising message or a new, follow-up message. If there are multiple interactive ads in an ad break the user may flip between the reminder bars to engage any interactive spot ad.
This can be used to present a short teaser to start with, and when the user later clicks on the reminder bar, they can be presented with a longer, full-length trailer.
