I will make a video. However, there was a problem with /v2 /assets.

Hi

I used a translator to ask a question. Sorry for the difficulty of understanding.

Please call for help again. Ask questions.

I am developing with reference to the API document.

I tried to create a properties using the asset API. However, the following issues have caused problems.

Request header field Content-Type is not allowed by Access-Control-Allow-Headers in preflight response.

How can I make a request to ooyala api with ajax?

There are changes. The previous problem seems to be resolved by clearing the contentType and adding 'json' to the dataType.
But again there was a problem. Enter api_key, signature, and expires in data.
But when it response, it says that it can not be found.
How can data be applied?

Hi JD,

I don't know if you have found your API credentials.

They are available in Backlot under the Account tab and then the sub tab Developers

Regarding the signature, that is a base64 encoded string.

You can read about it here, http://help.ooyala.com/users/video-platform/tasks/api_signing_requests.html

We have multiple SDK's for making API requests here are some of them:

PHP: https://github.com/ooyala/php-v2-sdk

C#: https://github.com/ooyala/csharp-v2-sdk

NodeJS: https://github.com/ooyala/nodejs-ooyala-v2-sdk

All these SDK's has a generateSignature method which you can use to generate it for you.

Remember that API credentials needs to be kept securely in the backend, otherwise people with a little knowledge can go through JavaScript/JQuery source code and find your credentials.
