We're currently experiencing difficulties implementing the V3 player against our ad serving network, DoubleClick's Legacy DFP.
When using the Flash Player, we are able to enable the pre-roll and companion ads by using the "doubleclick" property on the options object which is passed to OO.Player.create method. However:
This property is not documented. The documented options are "vast", "google" and "in-stream".
if the video player is not of the correct dimensions, the aspect ratio of the pre-roll advert is stretched. This does not happen to the main video, and also does not happen when using the "vast" property.
When using the HTML5 Player, we are unable to produce a pre-roll or companion ad. In addition, there doesn't appear to be any indication that Google's IMA SDK is loaded, which is required to extract these ads.
The Supported Ad Networks page appears to indicate that the player should be capable of supporting DoubleClick In-Stream, Overlay and Companion ads. Does this page refer to the V2, V3, or both players?
