Signature Code R

I am trying to use an R macro in Alteryx to generate a signature for a GET request to https://api.ooyala.com/v3/analytics/report/?

I am new to Alteryx and to R so I am needing some assistance.  Is this something that has been done?

Can someone share their R code?

Thanks,

Ramona

Re: Signature Code R

Hi,

I am sorry we are not familiar with Alteryx or R code, we dont currently have such implementation.

You can find the Sample Codes we have currently for several platforms, they might be able to help you:
http://support.ooyala.com/developers/documentation/tasks/api_signing_requests_appendix.html

Let me know if you have any questions about it.

Thanks

Re: Signature Code R

I have followed the instructions here: http://support.ooyala.com/developers/documentation/tasks/api_signing_requests.html

and generated the request and the signature but "Invalid Signature" is always the result.  I notice that the instructions and the code examples here

http://support.ooyala.com/developers/documentation/tasks/api_signing_requests_appendix.html

are specific to /v2/players

I am trying to access the /v3/analytics/reports api

Is it possible that the instructions to generate the signature are different?

Re: Signature Code R

Hi,

The API signing procedure is the same for Backlot API (V2) and for the Analytics API (V3). Are you getting successful calls for V2? If you are still having issues we will gladly help you troubleshoot the signature creation via a support ticket. Please let me know.

Thanks
