Release Notes Details

2019-02-19 Release - Ooyala Player Mobile SDK v4.43.0 for iOS and Android

This Ooyala Player Mobile SDK release includes fixes to previous issues as well as new functionality, such as 

  • a new "skin.json" parameter to hide/show the Player’s Control Panel,
  • support for opacity control when displaying Closed Captions
  • and support for download serialization for assets with the Ooyala Player Token enabled (Android only).

2019-02-12 Release - Ooyala Player Web v4.30.17 Release

This Ooyala HTML5 Player v4.31.17 release fixes previous issues and introduces new features, such as

  • integrated AirPlay support with Safari browser
  • Picture-in-Picture support with Chrome Desktop browser
  • the ability to set the Player language dynamically based on the browser language setting.

This version is now on the '/production/latest' evergreen path (the '/production' path remains on v4.28.24).
